92 Rape
11-02-08
(For a dear friend)
A human man hurt you
Beyond what that plain word,
Hurt, can even begin to describe:
Pain beyond words then
And avoided by words now.
He transgressed your soul and mind
When he violated your body,
Leaving scars no surgeons skills can ever fix:
Emotional scars cut the deepest.
Emotional scars heal the slowest.
In that moment he made you
A forever-loathing part of himself.
He stole from you;
Steal back what is yours:
Take back who you are,
Who you have grown to be.
Who is the monster of this nightmare?
The abomination of this story?
It is him!
That foul-bodied cretin
Who dares call himself a man,
Dares call himself human!
You are not responsible.
And though the words are captive inside you now,
One day they will walk free
In ways that will make perfect sense to them...
Not necessarily to you.
When those words leave you
And your shouts, screams, sobs and tears
Set you free,
I will be there to hold you.
Because although I dont know your pain,
I see your pain.
I see the suffering your pain subjects you to,
And I know pains loneliness.

How much do you actually see, or are you just not bothered to look?
