Before her world falls apart;

Oh Guardian Angel where have you gone?
My nights are scary without you and my days are too long.

Surely nobody she knows could...
I mean she could, and would, but was stopped.
If you did, or tried to, why didn’t you contact
Those who would have talked you through
The night and day and night again?

You kept me talking until I was calm,
Why have you not given me the same chance?

My nights are scary without you and my days are too long.

Come back to me, don’t leave me alone,
Don’t leave the way I would;
Leave when it’s your time and you are called
To Heaven or Hell or numbness in between.

Don’t leave early as I have planned –
We still need to celebrate your birthday,
And mine;
Though few remember that these days.
We have friendship days and Christmases
Followed by new years with new hopes...
