Sold at homemade stands,
A sour bit of sugar
Made with love from far off lands.
I used to be quite able
To teach all the girls and boys
That hard work equates to money
That can buy you all your toys.
But now, you see, times changing,
And instead of just a dime,
I cost a good few dollars
And more morsels of your time.
