Pet Bull
~You call, she runs~
13-05-08
(Loosely based on the theme found in the poem Bullheaded by x-outsider-x)
It doesnt matter what colour flags are waved at her;
For when you call she will run to you.
You are her friend,
Your name is engraved upon her heart...
Written with permanent marker,
Over and over again upon her soul,
And she will do anything for you:
You are her friend,
And she will run when you call...
Every single time.
If you call her,
And then, deciding that you no longer need her,
Step back from her letting her run past...
She will not hold it against you the next time you call:
You are incised into her very being,
And she will never ignore your call
No matter what you do to her....
No matter what you have done.
She is susceptible to the flags of those she loves now,
As well as the flags of those she has loved in the past:
Those whose flags burnt her,
And whose names she has tried to remove...
But the engraving goes deep,
And when their flags are raised she runs,
Hesitantly,
In their direction, only to be burned again:
They were her friends,
And she will run to them too...
Every time.
She carries your name with her,
And she will not let any injury to you go unpunished:
When you cannot raise your flag yourself,
She will raise your banner and battle for you:
She is your friend,
And she will run to you when you call...
Every single time.

I was here,
Here I was,
Was I here?
Yes, I was

How much do you actually see, or are you just not bothered to look?

How much do you actually see, or are you just not bothered to look?
And so true... and relatable in so many ways with the hurt
