South of the Line
16-12-14

Christmas and winter aren’t at the same time
When you live down here, way south of the line.
There’s no snow, there’s no frost, nor icicles to
Melt in the hearth – there’s nothing to do
As the sun bears its weight, burning the land –
You’d think that by now we’d have caught this in hand.
Even in winter we only have rain
As there once more is no snow, no frost again.
So once again, just to remind,
Christmas and winter aren’t at the same time
When you live down here, way south of the line.
