Core:
Poetry, all types. Rachel would regularly participate in poetry contests online and submit pieces to journals in hopes of publication. While she did place in some online contests, she has (so far) not been published. Rachel is adept at bringing metaphors, imagery and emotion to the front in rhyming or non-rhyming pieces.

Armour Style:
Rae wears a lot of blues and purples, hardly ever any pinks. Starting at the bottom, she wears knee-high lace-up black boots with a very low heel (she doesn’t need the height) and denim pants that taper off mid-calf (3/4 pants in other words). She wears a royal purple v-neck short-sleeved t-shirt with a black sheep on the front. This shirt hangs over the pants, to about mid-thigh (so it’s technically a tunic). There are also black fingerless gloves and lilac legwarmers worn on her hands and arms. She has a tattoo of a feathered quill on the back of her neck that glows whenever she is inspired. This tattoo is black but glows a pleasing shade of purple. Her hair is reddish/brown and kept short with wavy spikes. Her eyes are baby blue with grey flecks. She is pale and tall. Her fingernails are long and she often uses them to rake someone’s eyes. They are polished with baby blue nail polish. She wears a garnet necklace that shields her from attacks when activated. It can also shield from practical things like water balloons. She has a black rose pinned to her belt which prevents her from being poisoned and a belt made from Watercolour Willow vines which slows colour loss.

She wears a black Alice Band with diamante flowers on it, which Raelynn wears the matching one, which amplifies their combined attack. She also wears a black ring with inset diamante pieces, which Troubador wears the matching one, which amplifies their combined attack. There is also a necklace in the shape of a dice (her randomness medallion).

She also wears a ring (purple) which has cold resistance, an aquamarine belly ring, which allows her to breathe underwater, sapphire studs which have cold resistance properties and earrings in the shape of treble clefs, which are a form of iPod and play/record music.

 

Dojo Uniform:

Rae’s Dojo Uniform consists of dark purple pants with matching elasticated waist, white pockets and white shoes/socks. Her top is a lighter shade of purple and is long-sleeved, designed to fold across her chest.

 

Diving Gear:

Rae's Diving Gear is a hooded wetsuit in black with purple trim. In the purple is a black letter motif. The pants secure under the feet and the arms secure around the thumbs. She can also wear black flippers and 'wetsuit gloves'.

 

Magical Armour: (Sleepy Sheepy)

Rae's Magical Armour was designed by Sakura at the festival. It consists of a short lavander dress and black pants with a dark purple ribbon with a bow on the back (like a belt). Dark purple fingerless gloves. Hair clips (sheep) and lavender high heel boots.

 

Pirate Armour:

Black pants, long, tucked into knee-high boots, but without laces like my current ones. These boots must have the fold at the knee, and be black too. Then for a shirt: long, puffy, layered sleeves, cream coloured with a brown bodice. Bandanna for her hair. Also, a belt of sorts with a large buckle. Some beads. A cloak too. Black with a red trim. Hooded. Long, ankle length.

 

Autumn Armour:

Brown skirt, long, with designs in red, orange and yellow along the bottom. Off the shoulder cream shirt, long bell sleeved, with brown and red leaf patterns on it. Long scarf, striped red, orange and brown. Brown leather fingerless gloves. Orange and red striped 'leg warmers' on arms. Brown headband.

 

Mech:

A simple purple frame for the body and arms and black for the legs and feet. The feet would have a blade extending over the toes. Both her hands would be fists, for punching, and she would have a large sword in a scabbard on her back which would be made out of words twisted together to form a very sharp blade. The frame would be a normal-looking frame that would attach onto her being with the help of straps and buckles, offering her some protection against the attacks of other Mechs.

Weapon(s):
Laser Pen (upgraded) – She carries a laser pen in her pocket that she uses to stab enemies and create poetry.

    -          Upgrade:  The laser is now able to be used as a long-range weapon and is particularly effective against creatures from other planets.

Nails – She rakes an enemies doing some damage.

Snake Sword – a purple sword whose blade is curvy like a snake from 'snakes and ladders'.

Abilities:
Defensive – Metaphor Mastery: Rae has mastered the use of metaphors in poetry and uses this mastery to create a shield of words that blocks attacks for a short period of time.
Aggressive – Twisted Emotional Torrent: With a slash of her pen or a rake of her nails Rae hurls emotional words at an enemy causing quite a bit of damage.
Passive – Poetry Pleasures: The joy of writing poetry lightens Rae’s mood and can give a beneficial gain to an ally.
Aggressive - Word Waterfall of Doom: Rae creates a torrent of words that build up, like a river, to eventually culminate in a rushing waterfall of language that knocks the recipient off their feet dealing some damage and disorienting them.

Passive – Bucket Full of Tears: The emotional release from writing/speaking poetry causes Rae to relax, temporarily buffing her attacks and defence or that of an ally.

Abilities: (Dojo Uniform)

Aggressive – Kick in the Teeth: Rae’s poetry gathers power and unleashes itself in a series of kicks to various parts of the enemy’s body.

Aggressive – Rap'ped: Rae begins rhyming words together causing a power build up until she reaches a climatic moment when it all bursts forth dealing damage.

Passive – Spoonerism: Rae mixes up words and phrases on purpose to create confusion in an enemy.

 

Abilities: (Pirate Armour)

Aggressive – Punctuated: Rae uses her punctuation skills to throw obstacles into an enemy's path. These can slow them down, do small amounts of damage or maybe stop them for a short period.

 

Abilities: (Autumn Armour)

Aggressive – Epic: Rae writes an extremely long poem, which shoots from her pen like an arrow to impale her target.

 

Abilities: (Mech)

Aggressive: Word War - Rae whispers a poem and punctuates each word with a stab or a slice of her sword.

Defensive: - Change of Pace - Rae slows down the words she speaks to such an extent that they form a wall of words that last as a shield for a few minutes.

Pet:
Thesaurosarus: (Wordsmith)
 - A small (the size of a kitten) baby dinosaur (looks like a T-Rex) who likes repeating words and synonyms or antonyms.

Personality:
Rae is introverted and shy, but opens up once she trusts you enough. She writes mainly for her own enjoyment and the enjoyment of others, but has a dream to one day be a published author.

Quirks/Habits:
Rae is a loner, preferring the company of words to people most days. She loves cats, and will stop what she is doing to pet a stray cat, if it’s friendly, even if it’s the middle of a poem or a battle. She drinks a lot of tea. Like, a lot.

History:
Rachel was writing one day when the tattoo on the back of her neck began to heat up. Unbeknownst to her it was glowing a pretty shade of purple. She thought nothing of it until she went to bed and discovered herself in a whole new world.

    -          Been on a few missions with him. He seems nice.

    -          Got badly beaten by Freika in the tournament, but that was just fun.

    -          Went on a mission with Freika and the muses and some CIs and learned something more about this Sketchist.

Aphrodisia:

    -          This Sketchist is very new, but has been on a few missions with Rae and there is potential for a good friendship.

Gear:

    -          Coincidentally did a mission with Gear. The man seemed resistant to her efforts of friendship.

    -          Has done some more missions with him and is warming to his eclecticness.

    -          Did even more missions with him and really likes him.

    -          He shared his soup and followed her into a cave looking for a pet he didn't want.

Raelynn:

    -          This Sue seems to think she’s Rae’s little sister. Leads to awkward situations.

Troubador:
 - Her 'long time' friend in Archeio who she does most missions with. Troubador has taken the time to explain many facets of Archeio to Rae, and even helped her figure out some of her powers.
Ramlah:
 - She has been on one mission with Ramlah but doesn't know enough about this Sketchist to make up her mind beyond the fact that she seems nice.

    -          Went on another mission with Ramlah and is continuing to like the Sketchist.

Helix Nebulae:
 - She has been on one mission with Helix Nebulae, but from what was said/what happened during that mission Helix seems to be a complex character who loves talking.
Creative Bomb:
 - CB is the long-time 'go to gal' when it comes to questions about Archeio. Having only formally interacted once Rae doesn't know a lot about her other than she seems nice. CB seems to be very thorough and quick thinking.
Riza:
 - Rae used to like Riza more, but after the last interaction with the spirit something is a bit fishy.
Sir Knighthood:
 - Rae met Sir Knighthood during April when she went to find out more about the twins. The island spirit seems to have adopted the nature of the caves, which led to a very unnerving meeting.
Jade Pearl:
 - Rae met Jade once, after collecting ore for her, and Jade made Rae a necklace. She liked the mermaid very much.
Midnight Darkness:
 - Rae met Midnight on the very first mission she went on and the Sue tried to drain her colour. Since he began looking after the muses Midnight is becoming a lot more bearable and nice.

Cunctation:

Cunctation is Rae's nemesis from the Fire Brick Clique. They have a mutual hatred.
