My Perfect World
31-10-15

In my perfect world, babies wouldn’t die.
Their souls would not be soaring up in darkened skies;
I would not have lost my little one, I wouldn’t have to cry,
In my perfect world.

In my perfect world love would last for all time,
One wouldn’t need to look for it under crud and grime;
I would not have lost the one I loved, he would still be mine,
In my perfect world.

In my perfect world friends are always there
Giving of their time and showing that they care;
You never have to beg for love, though you do have to share,
In my perfect world.

In my perfect world crime’s not an easy thing
And you can walk the streets at night laughing and singing;
There are no murders, rapes or hijackings
In my perfect world.

I'm sure you have a lot of inspirations... to write things like this. Very good job.
