waning and pale.
Green for the grass
that shows you my trail.

Blue is the sky
cloudless and clear,
Indigo's the sunset
bringing darkness and fear.

Violet, like the flower,
is serene and so shy.
White are the clouds
that float right on by.

Finally, black,
the colour of night;
It brings darkness and sorrow
that drown out my light.
