Scene One
Mystery/Thriller - Eerie

The office is in semi-darkness. The only light spews forth from a lamp sitting crookedly on a ransacked desk; its shade is broken, lying a few feet away on the floor. The bare bulb burns brightly but flickers, as if the task of lighting the room is too much of a heavy burden. An open window allows a heavy breeze to send stiff, curtains billowing lazily towards the centre of the room where a man stands, back to the open door. He is staring at a mirror, which is mounted on the far wall between two bookcases, upon which is written, either in blood or bright, bold, dripping paint, the words: "I see. I know. I remember." Books that previously stood like sentinels on shelves lie in dishevelled piles on the floor, like drunks passed out on park benches, and an opened safe spews its contents like vomit. A circle, a pentagram and several runes are drawn in salt upon the floor, and the man is confused. On the floor beneath the mirror lies a single, red rose tied with a black ribbon. Scenes from Phantom of the Opera flash through the man's mind as he bends to pick it up, and he can almost hear music playing; a ghostly sound seemingly carried in by the wind coming in through the open window. Although he tries to be careful, a wayward thorn still pricks his finger and a single drop of blood lazily makes its way stain the white carpet.

Scene Two
Contemporary Teen - Rebellious

The office is in darkness as the only light – a lamp perched on the end of the desk – sits broken, bulb shattered. A few feet away, still rolling, lies the broken lamp shade. An open window allows a heavy breeze to bring the scent of flowers into the room, along with the sounds of a SWAT team assembling and flashing lights from the police vehicles haphazardly strung across the lawn. Standing in the centre of the room is a teenage boy; he holds a simple handgun, pointed towards a man backed into gap between two book shelves where a wall-mounted mirror watches. Books lie drunkenly in piles on the floor and an open safe spills its contents like vomit. A circle, a pentagram and several runes are drawn in salt upon the floor, and the boy takes care to not step in them. Before the man came in and disturbed him, the boy wrote in blood, or bright, bold dripping paint, upon the mirror the words: "I see. I know. I remember." He takes a few steps towards the safe, and, with the gun still aimed at the man's chest, he stoops down and gathers as much of the cash and ammunition spilling from the open safe as he can carry upon his person. On the floor beneath the mirror the boy placed a single, red rose tied with a black ribbon; a reminder, though of what nobody is certain. The man, the father of the boy, is afraid.

Scene Three
Fantasy - Euphoric

The office is bathed in a soft glow emanating from a small lamp perched askew on the desk. Its shade lies broken on the floor, and its bulb has been augmented by magic to light the entire room with the appearance of many candles. An open window allows the sounds of the forest to enter the room upon the heavy breeze; a melodious cacophony of tweeting birds and chattering gnomes. Sitting at a desk is a mage reading from one of several large, thick books that he has gathered. These books seem to have come from the bookcases along the walls, as other books sit in dishevelled heaps upon the floor while an open safe spills its contents like vomit. In the centre of the room the mage has drawn a circle, a pentagram and several runes in salt. A mirror, mounted between two bookshelves, watches the proceedings judgementally. The mage utters some words from the book and the runes on the floor pulse and glow, flashing with power and radiating a sudden burst of pure joy. A large grin spreads across his face. He races into the salt circle, book in hand, and begins to sway as he chants a spell. Sudden laughter can be heard from behind the mirror, as if people had suddenly materialised on the other side of it. In a fit of uncontrollable laughter the mage reaches for a single, red rose lying on the floor and, giggling like a madman, eats it.

It places you in a library with the imagery. The vomit line being repeated in the 2nd one seemed repetitive.
